Communication with givers

All statements about the use of a gift that an organization makes in its stewardship appeals must be hononed. The giver's intent may bne shaped by both the ministry's communication of the appeal and by any giver instructions that come twith the gift. If the giver repsonds to a specific appeal, the assumptions is made that the giver's intent is that the funds will be used as outlined in the appeal. In deciding whether to support a particular ministery or program, those who donate to Christ-centered organizations rely on the information the ministry provides. Therefore, ministries have the reponsibility to represent facts truthfully when communicating with givers.
